LOVE this Boutique! Owner Lissa has impeccable taste. A tasteful eclectic trendy and classic mix of house ware, decor, kitchen ware and art. The pricing is absolutely fair to it's quality. The service is a solid 10. Always a smile, always accompanied by a fun chat. Nelson is better because of self made owner run businesses like Maison. You'll love it.

Always an excellent selection of inspired pieces. I especially loved the wide array of Christmas decor last year. The candles and soaps make great gifts . Shopping local is more important than ever. I am grateful to have businesses like Maison - with great selection - right here in my hometown .

What an incredible shopping experience! The staff is so friendly, and it was the perfect place to find a gift for my partner. This must be the best home decor store I’ve been to in Canada! Wow!

Unfortunately this business will only give store credits no exceptions even to out of province visitors.

I called Maison looking for some ideas for a gift for a good friend who loves decorating. I was very pressed for time so called ahead of going to the store. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful with ideas for a gift. She asked about color schemes, themes my friend may have all ready started and interests she may have that would allow her to help me figure out the perfect gift. I went in after work, was greeted warmly by the lady working. She must have recognized my voice as after a couple minutes she asked if I called earlier. She showed me many of the beautiful products in the store and gave me so many options I was unable to decide what to purchase. In the end I asked if I could purchase a gift card. It was made up for me in minutes and I was off. My experience here was great. I will definitely come again, this time for myself.

Cute items in store. Some items in stock are similar to what you can find at The Cross in Vancouver with a slightly lower price tag. The woman (I think she was the owner) working the counter was really uptight. Anticipate a real nervous middle aged woman and enter at your own risk. Felt as though someone was making her sell all her nice things against her will - almost comical. I found something I really liked and made a purchase anyway but, typically I would’ve walked away due to the experience.

My child is three years old, potty training is hard, we are almost there but not quite. I Went to buy TWO wedding gifts for this September and we just purchased a new house that needs art for the walls. When we got there of coarse she had to go pee, When I asked the women behind the counter stuffing her face full of fudge she responded with her mouth open and said "No, she would not allow us to use the bathroom" ? And it wasn't an I'm sorry no, She was not being polite ( very rude) I understand if you don't allow the public to use your bathroom, but it's a toddler who is learning how to hold her bladder. We left to go find somewhere else, but it was too late, she had an accident all over the side walk. Wet pants and shoes, it was time to head home. Part of running a GOOD business is your customer service, if your going to be rude and unpleasant you shouldn't be working with the public. I hope your well aware you missed out on a big sale. And next time I hope the poor mom with the small child doesn't make it outside. And a big thank you to shoes of the soul, who was our first stop and allowed us to use their bathroom 3 times! We love our new shoes! Thank you for making moms life a little easier.
