When planning our wedding, my now-husband and I knew we wanted an all-inclusive package and a modern, simple but elegant wedding. We only needed to visit Lago before choosing the perfect setting for our special day. From start to finish, our experience at Lago was nothing short of exceptional. The team at Lago, led by the incomparable Gyneya, made planning a breeze and answered every single one of my (many) questions. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring everything was perfect truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in the best hands. They worked hand in hand with our day-of-coordinator (Caroline and Company) to seamlessly execute every aspect of the day, leaving us free to enjoy the experience without stress.

We had our ceremony space in the Vista Room and reception in the Main Room. We enjoyed top-tier food, and a seamless setup and cleanup process. Our guests were blown away by the food and drinks (especially those made by Elliot). We received countless compliments about the duck, lamb, apps and the lemon meringue tart, not to mention the friendly staff and flawless execution of the event.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location for our special day. Whether it was the waterfront views, the impeccable service, or the flawless coordination, Gyneya and her team made our wedding unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a breathtaking and stress-free wedding experience by the water!

My husband and I got married here last month. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. You get a whole wedding package, amazing food choices, and the staff goes through the whole planning process and schedule with you. You bring your own decorations but they set everything up for you. It’s also so affordable compared to other venues. They made the whole experience easy.

I would highly recommend Lago for your wedding venue. My husband and I got married at Lago on a beautiful fall day this past October. Gyneya and her team were an absolute dream to work with! Their exceptional communication and careful attention to detail meant that I was able to enjoy both the planning process and our wedding day with minimal stress. The food was delicious and the evening was well-coordinated. Our ceremony was held outside overlooking Dows Lake, followed by photos in the arboretum with the fall colours as our back drop. Thank you Lago for hosting our wedding at a place that means so much to us.
