I’m not sure if I can fit my praise for Nancy and her team at fête en France into one review but I’ll try. Out of all of the choices we made for our wedding choosing fête en France was far and above the best decision we’ve ever made. Nancy, the owner of the company is from Chicago and really understands the psychology behind translating the “American wedding experience” into European culture. She made herself available throughout the entire process while her associate Sophie oversaw the planning from start to finish. Sophie was INCREDIBLE. She not only handled every detail, but she was honest, she listened to us, she got to know us and advocated for our wants and needs with every vendor and at every stage of the planning process. She thought of details that never would have crossed our minds and gave great advice that helped us keep costs down. She knew exactly where we should invest to get the most value for our money. She even went as far to help us set our expectations and put our minds at ease when we got stressed or overwhelmed (which rarely happened because she took care of everything). Sophie went so far and beyond the call of duty of a wedding planner and over the course of the 14/15 months it took to plan our wedding she really became a friend to both my husband and I. She completely understood our vision and put together the most magical event. Our wedding truly felt like a celebration being thrown in our honor rather than an overwhelming experience we couldn’t enjoy. We really had as much fun planning our wedding with Sophie as we did on our actual wedding day. If you are on the fence about hiring fête en France I HIGHLY recommend including them in your budget, i can guarantee it will be the best money you spend for your wedding.

Nancy was an absolute lifesaver for our wedding! After a bad experience with a previous planner about a year out, Nancy stepped in and completely turned things around. From the moment she took over, we felt a sense of calm and reassurance that lasted throughout the entire planning process.

Planning a wedding as a NYC couple with our dream event in Paris came with many challenges, but Nancy handled everything flawlessly. She managed all our vendors with expertise, answered all our questions, and navigated every potential issue (weather, logistics, you name it) with grace and precision. Nancy planned two days of events for us, meticulously handling the details. On top of all the regular planning, she took care of transportation, welcome gift bags, getting ready food, and even considered where the sun would be during both our welcome party and wedding day. She also arranged fun props for the reception, adding a special touch to our celebration.

One of Nancy's greatest strengths is her ability to bridge the gap between American and French culture. With an American style of communication, she was always clear, direct, and responsive, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free. At the same time, her fluency in French and extensive network of amazing vendors/experienced background in France meant we had access to the best resources and expertise available. Her exceptional organizational skills, impeccable taste, and perfect balance of American efficiency and French elegance truly made her the ideal planner for our international wedding. We felt so assured by Nancy that we slept like babies for a full 10 hours the night before our wedding day.

Nancy's expertise was especially crucial as we were planning a wedding for guests coming from all over the world. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how perfect the wedding was, and we couldn't agree more. Nancy is highly communicative, incredibly trustworthy, and possesses impeccable taste and the ability to execute every detail flawlessly. We are beyond grateful for her dedication and professionalism. If you're looking for a wedding planner who will make your dream wedding a reality, Nancy is the one!

Nancy was hands down the best decision we made. She brought all my ideas to life and the entire weekend was just a dream. People have asked me what would I have done differently or changed and honestly, I wouldn't change a single thing. To me the entire weekend was perfect. Having Nancy there also meant that we got to enjoy the weekend and our wedding! Instead of stressing and running around like hosts usually do.

It's been a month since our wedding and I miss our weekly calls. She was just amazing. During our site visit in March (wedding in September), she pulled out an app to calculate where the sun would be in September so that our ceremony wouldn't be in direct sun. She also filled our limited time with vendor visits and tastings, making it so easy for us to choose our vendors and finalize key decisions ahead of time. So many big and little decisions go into wedding planning and this is something most of us only ever do once! I cannot recommend Nancy enough for all the knowledge and insights she brings to the table. She was great at bringing my ideas for the wedding to life. Any question, crazy idea, concern that I threw at her, she handled it all like a pro with grace and ease.

My husband and I live in San Francisco and our 70 guests traveled from the US, Canada, UK, China, and Singapore to attend our wedding. Everyone had such a surreal time and so many people commented on how well organized the entire 4 day weekend was. None of that would have been possible without Nancy and her meticulous planning and creative execution.

My biggest advice for anyone planning a destination wedding is find a wedding planner that you connect with and trust them to plan the wedding of your dreams. It will likely be the best party you ever throw and it makes the world of a difference to be able to enjoy it knowing that a professional is handling all the details.

Nancy is the best, cannot recommend her enough!!

We do not have enough words to describe how grateful we are for Nancy and the Fete in France team for planning a dream wedding in France. We worked with her for about 1.5 years to plan our wedding, and during the time, Nancy’s clear communication, strategic advice and impeccable style / taste was instrumental pulling off the perfect wedding. She helped us choose our venue, sending us an efficient sheet of venues to choose from, and arranged and accompanied (drove us all around France when we were jet lagged) site visits for us under a constrained timeframe. We could not have been happier with the venue selection and with all the vendors she recommended.

It was clear Fete in France had a great network and has established a high reputation with top-notch vendors, and we were so lucky to work with her. She made such good recommendations on what to include and not include on our wedding day, and still made sure we were within our budget even though we wanted to splurge on everything.

On the wedding day / weekend, we had a lot of moving parts but everything went so smoothly because of her team’s execution. We also had a lot of various last-minute day-of things that came up on our wedding day, and her team helped coordinate all of that seamlessly. All of our guests commented how it was the best wedding they have been to and how wonderful our wedding planner was.

Our friends, after seeing our wedding, ask us a lot about wedding planning tips. Our answer has always been ”pick a good planner”. It was a joy working with Fete in France and it was magical seeing everything come together on the wedding day.

Working with Nancy was one of the absolute best decisions we made while planning our dream destination wedding in Paris. She is knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and put us at ease through the entire process. We had never set foot on site at our wedding venue before arriving in Paris on our wedding week, so she was our eyes and ears on the ground - and it could not have gone smoother. She worked with all of our vendors - photographer, hair/makeup, band, florist - seamlessly and made it all stress free for us. We worked with Fête in France for our august Paris wedding, we had to plan our wedding in just two months (because of a location change due to covid) and Nancy was wonderful about it, they literally saved our wedding.
In that short amount of time she was able to plan our dream wedding, only 2 weeks after contacting her I went to paris and she had already set us up visits with the most beautiful and memorable venues around Paris.
Nancy is incredibly organized and profesional, always available when you have any questions and has created an incredible relationship both with her team and with other vendors to deliver a super smooth wedding experience.

We had no idea how helpful a wedding planner ends up being on your wedding day, because this was the first time we were doing it, so many things threatened to go wrong but Nancy super calmly stayed on top of everything and had us on schedule the whole time. She made everything completely stress free and helped us make the best vendor & budget choices before the wedding but also during the wedding day! (super important point as well)

I used to think that hiring a wedding planner just meant someone who organizes the vendors for you, but not at all, hiring Fête in France is definitely an insurance policy of everything working out smoothly and having lots of fun on your super special day.

Without a doubt our wedding was the best day of our lives, and we owe a lot of that to this amazing planner!

As soon as we were engaged, we knew that our dream wedding would take in Paris. As busy professionals, we knew the enormity of the wedding planning tasks would be impossible without having a locally based, professional wedding planner. After conducting much research, we interviewed via Skype a couple of candidates and immediately knew that the Fête in France team would be our partner in planning. Their responsiveness, diligence and thoughtfulness was a perfect match for us.

After much back and forth emailing and telephone conversations, the Fête team help us flush out options for venues; we quickly made a trip to Paris to meet with Nancy and through two days of touring venues and discussing the vibe we envisioned, our plans quickly took shape.

With a little less than one year to plan our destination wedding, with events held over three days, Fête was able to offer us options as well as help us field options we found ourselves. Their “Rolodex” of vetted, trustworthy vendors and their organization of services, contracts, and other logistics made a daunting task possible. We had a lot of input along the way and Nancy and her team were always respectful and very responsive; we felt heard and supported with our choices.

Flash forward to August 2019; we met with Nancy and her team upon arrival to Paris and every detail was taken care of. With their excellent planning and preparation, there were no last-minute decisions or tasks to be done; we were able to actually enjoy the days leading up to the wedding, our events, spend meaningful time with our guests, and just soak in the beauty of the events we had planned. Our guests were absolutely stunned by the attention to detail, the flow of events, the venues, and the beauty of our ceremony. Our “vibe” came through at each turn – and our dream wedding truly was a reflection of us as a couple.

Nancy and her team stood behind the scenes at each event, and the flow and execution were seamless. Thank you so much!!! We are so very grateful to Fête for executing our vision and for making our dream wedding a reality.
