I can't thank Nisho and her team enough for making our wedding decor dream come true. We initially started discussions about 3 months but then stalled due to restrictions at my venue. About 3 weeks to the wedding, I contacted again since she seemed to be the only one who understood my dream for the day. In that short period, Nisho and I worked together to finalize our design. Communication was great. Implementation on the day of the event went smoothly. Our venue was astonishingly beautiful, guys! Guests are still raving about our decoration and how elegant it looked. My experience with Dream Decor was overall disappointing. My husband and I’s biggest regret to this day is that we hired them for our decor. While the decor itself came together in the end and looked great, the process getting there was very rough.

Sunita and Nisho were understanding and accommodating at the beginning, so much so that my husband and I decided to sign with them even though they were one of the more expensive decorators as we believed in their quality. All went downhill after signing and paying the initial deposit.

Communication became so poor and we weren’t able to get ahold of them. When we did, we were told that our 400-person event was much smaller than their other clients and they were understaffed so we weren’t being as prioritized. Despite the thousands and thousands of dollars spent on them, it wasn’t enough in their eyes. Sunita was consistently forgetting details and was all over the place every time we meant. We went back and forth several times unnecessarily because what was written in the contract was not held up but that didn’t matter to them.

We were told that Sunita would be present on the wedding day and leave once the entrances happened. This did not happen. Instead, Nisho came and left well before the entrances. When I arrived to the venue to look at the setup, Nisho said “What are you doing here? I’ve never had a bride look at the decor before it’s done” in a very passive aggressive manner. Well, I’m glad I did. The size of the stage was much smaller than we agreed upon and they were not going to tell me if I hadn’t noticed and called it out.

Overall, stay away and spend your money where you will be appreciated and cared for as you should.

Sunita was very nice and accommodating before booking but once you book, she tends to "forget" to send you things like important invoices for weeks and dodges your emails until its a month before the wedding event. She promised me a certain design for my wedding in-person and said she would there be in-person to make sure everything was set up correctly. She had left for vacation without informing me and had someone I didn't know come to oversee the setup that day. Their pricing is not set, many times Sunita did not know and they didn't show us a pricing list. She also said she had done decor at my venue but did not know anything and had no suggestions for my stage and aisle sizing nor did she come to see the venue with me which is what she promised before booking. I would avoid booking this company and avoid the stress on your wedding day

Working with Sunita and Nisho was the most stressful part of my wedding planning experience. If you’re looking for a vendor that communicates clearly and in a timely manner without constant followups, and who delivers what they promised without costing you more at the end of the day then look elsewhere.

While the ceremony decor was beautiful, I would have rather paid more elsewhere and saved countless hours of time and stress. My husband and I chose to work with Dream decors because of their reasonable pricing and seemingly accommodating service. In the initial quote, Sunita included complimentary linens for the cake table and assured us her staff would handle all aspects of the ceremony-reception flip, including modifying the existing stage decor.

It was all downhill from there. Once we paid the deposit, we didn’t hear from Sunita until less than 30 days before the wedding. Mind you, the Dream contract claims that the design work will begin 90 days prior and be finalized 60 days prior to the event.

Over the next two weeks, Sunita repeatedly went back and forth on what her team would be able to deliver. She tried to walk back her commitment of handling the furniture during the reception flip. Each call started with a 30-45 minute recap of prior discussions and she routinely misremembered key decisions such as removing the aisle runner. After finally sending a very lengthy, detailed email and recreating her moodboard to reflect these updates (something she should have done), we finally locked in the design.

Except, we didn’t. A week later, I still hadn’t received the final quote I was promised. Upon following up, Sunita and owner Nisho got on a call to tell us that the stage decor we picked would not fit in the given space. These dimensions were provided weeks ago and should have been referenced before we finalized the design.

With 10 days to go till the wedding, this was INCREDIBLY stressful news. I can only imagine when they would’ve deemed it appropriate to share this information with me had I not followed up on the quote. They rushed me through the redesign process, giving me very limited options and pushing designs on me that were completely at odds with my initial mood board. I again spent hours scrolling through their instagram page to find the specific elements I was interested in using to ensure the decor matched the rest of our wedding.

On the wedding day, the decor team handled setup and the flip smoothly. However, her team failed to break down at the end of the night in time. When we booked our decor with this company, we were told that the team needed 4-5 hours for setup, 1.5 hours for a flip, and 1.5 hours for breakdown. We paid for an extra hour for the venue rental to accommodate this and had repeated confirmation that this would be sufficient. Upon arrival, the teardown team quoted 2.5 hours for breakdown. We ended up losing our security deposit and are fortunate that the venue did not charge us for the additional time.

Sunita and Nisho have been all but unreachable since this incident, and incredibly accusatory and inflexible in reaching a resolution. They’ve resorted to pointing fingers and itemizing all the “complimentary” items/services which we were promised from the start. These services played a major role in our decision to work with Dream Decors. We didn’t ask for free stuff, and would have been happy to pay for it all, but to have those numbers thrown in our face as a poorly fabricated excuse for shrugging the blame is unacceptable. For a company that handles decor at far larger events, I expected more.

Nisho & her team were phenomenal in decorating our wedding reception! I appreciated how she was always patient and listening to every idea I had. There were a few times I would change my mind and re-consider decisions but she was always willing to listen and help me decipher what was best for me and our budget. She was kind, very professional, and always gave me her honest opinion. I loved how she took time to sketch out a design and help me visually see what she was planning. I appreciated the team's hard work and dedication to making our reception a delight to see. We absolutely loved our stage decor and the reception hall. It was beautiful, simple, and stunning as I had hoped for. The team was able to execute what I envisioned. I enjoyed partnering with Dreams Decor Design and working alongside Nisho!
