This was my first trip to Japan, and come on, you can’t go there without trying their ramen. So, I booked my first tour with 5 AM Ramen. I had the pleasure of having the best tour guide, Sahori, who was a complete gem. Her genuine love for what she does shined forth, along with her comprehensive knowledge of the places we toured and the ramen we enjoyed.

Of the three places we toured, each got better as we went. Let me add that they ALL were phenomenal. By the time we reached the last place, my stomach was starting to get full. Wouldn’t you know that the last place is where I enjoyed this one the most because it had some “kick” to it; the Black Sesame Tantanmen at Curry Kingdom was so good.

After the tour, Sahori was nice enough to give me a 5-minute tutorial on navigating the train system on Google Maps. I took the train back to my hotel with ease, and as a result, I spent the rest of my visit riding the trains as if I lived in Japan. Thank you so much for going the extra mile, Sahori, and for the excellent tour of 5 AM Ramen.

Went on the Shibuya tour with Bunga, and had the best time!! The tour route is impeccably planned and has a variety of really great tasting ramen. Bunga is super knowledgeable and friendly, and helped create a great atmosphere in the group. Overall we had an excellent time, and I'd recommend this tour to anyone who loves ramen or wants to try a bunch of flavors!

My wife and I did the 5am Ramen tour last night and had a great time. The ramen was delicious and we loved the variety. Our guide Sahori was just wonderful! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Sahori was so friendly and knew extensive knowledge about the history of ramen and it was very informative! The experience was amazing and I am so happy that we were able to try all the different ramen from different locations. All in all it was 12 bowls of ramen, and all of it was great!

My teenage son and I both agree that Frank’s Ultimate Ramen Experience tour was the best tour of our visit to Tokyo (out of the four we took). The tour was well beyond our expectations. Frank’s passion and knowledge elevate this experience to the top of our list. His love for ramen is contagious and we will be ramen enthusiasts from now on because of him. Thank you, Frank!

Frank and his team are amazing and the ramen tour I took was one of the best food tours I've done. Highly recommend 5 AM Ramen as they provided exceptional service and delivered an excellent tour experience. Tour was thoughtful and had great contrast between sites. Frank was an amazing guide and we very much enjoyed everything about our evening together. Highly recommended and will be booking with them again on our next trip!
